AllForCalling.com

Cell phones have changed the world of telecommunication completely making the one who possesses a cell phone easily reachable wherever he is. Cellular phones perform the functions of ordinary residential phones but in addition they offer much more options.

The functions of cell phones include:
- Storing numbers, e-mails, personal data and any other contact information
- Making tasks, lists of what you are to do
- Setting reminders about important events and appointments
- Built-in calculators to solve simple problems, money converters, timers, etc
- Sending and receiving e-mails
- Access to the Internet
- Games
- The capability of broadcasting TV programs
- Sending text messages
- Listening music and watching video files with MP3 and other players
- Integrating with PDAs
- Making money transfers from your credit cards and banking accounts
- Transmitting of media files

Being a relatively modern technology cell phones in the form they exist today are on their way to extinction. Cell phones we are used to can no more satisfy the needs of customers who wish to have something more than transmitting of voice. Therefore video conferencing for cell phones came into being. Video conferencing (also known as 3G technologies) is not still normal for most people but it's going to be the way No1 to perform telecommunications.

3G technology is the third generation of technologies used in cellular phones (1G based on analog technologies and 2G based on digital technologies were successors to 3G cell phones).

Today people are no more satisfied with just sound or just image. The necessity to integrate sound and image and transmit them simultaneously has pushed the new generation of cell phones forward. Video conferencing is not still available for most people and what really exists on the market is likely to cost a lot and may lack quality.

However the developers of 3G cell phones are trying to solve the following tasks:
- Making available the capability to transmit image and sound simultaneously
- Eliminate jitters, clutters and interferences
- Cut down the price of video conferencing to make it affordable for most people

Video conferencing will allow you to see the person with whom you are talking. The expression of the face, the smile, the eyes can sometimes tell much more than words.

Video conferencing is to become a way out for hearing impaired who aren't able to use the cell phone options sufficiently. Sign language they use was unavailable with ordinary cell phones but now people with hearing problems will be able to communicate with each other as well as with other people using 3G technologies.
